GuitarJamz Solo DVD containing 4 DVDs
The course then moves into modes helping you to develop your solo guitar technique further. By taking the time to learn the modes you’ll be unlocking the key to playing guitar like your heros everything from classic rock to more heavy bands.
Taking the time to learn the pentatonic scales and the modes is critical if you truly want to improve and master your skills at guitar solo playing. Guitar Jamz does a great job of breaking it all down for you in a fun and playful way.
Take a look at the DVD and the typical Marty style teaching.
Jazz and blues solos:
Guitar Jamz also devotes one DVD to learning the foundation to play the mixolydian scale which is important in jazz and blues styles of play.
Bonus material:

- 15 Awesome New Jam Tracks DVD – learn to play your favourite artists most popular songs

Thoughts:
Personally I love GuitarJamz’s method of teaching and at $65 with all the bonus material the DVD set is a steal. But more importantly I find that inclusion of such techniques like the mixolydian scale very cool. Not only do people miss out and only teach the more common pentatonic scales but by learning the widest range of scales, modes and techniques you’ll be on your way to creating your own unique sound. If you just want to play some popular songs then that’s cool, GuitarJamz can teach you that but if you want to go further and absorb the information on these DVDs use it and apply it, then you have at your hands the ability to let your creative juices flow and come up some something truly unique.
