Priced at $74.99 for 4 DVDs with each DVD being at almost 2 hours long you can’t really go wrong. Marty takes you on a whirlwind course to help you improve your blues style of play. This course being 4 DVD long I’ll take you through each DVD one by one.

GuitarJamz blues DVD course review

Guitar Jamz blues DVD 1:

This DVD is about 2 hours in length and goes over everything from 12 bar blues along with tricks and tips for playing the blues. Towards the end Marty starts to talk about solos and shows you some amazing licks to help develop your guitar knowledge of the blues.

Guitar Jamz blues DVD 2:

A follow up from DVD 1, Marty expands on what you learn in DVD 1 to help you form a solid ground for your guitar practice. You”ll also learn how to play some styles of guitar’s greatest such as Jimi Hendrix, Chuck Berry. He breaks it down into a manageable pace so that you don’t get too overwhelmed. With learning on DVD this give you the chance to consonantly refer to the lessons allowing you to perfect your style before moving onto the next stage. You’ll also find jam tracks that you can play along to and help build up your confidence and perfect your timing if you are practising for a band.

Guitar Jamz blues DVD 3:

Again a progression from DVD 2, you’ll take your new skills to the next level with this DVD. This DVD is around 2 hours long is and filled with blues licks and jam tracks. You’ll also get to play along with Marty to help perfect your style. Finally, Marty takes you into some music theory, if you are serious about your guitar playing then learning music theory is vital. Once you understand the theory you’ll be able to go beyond the DVDs and start making your own licks, riffs and songs.

Guitar Jamz blues solo DVD:

You will learn more theory in this DVD, again essential if you are serious about your guitar playing. You’ll also learn more blues licks and techniques adding once again to your guitar education and knowledge. This is an important DVD in terms of breaking free into your own creative style of play, something that every serious guitar player must do.

What Marty gives you here is a resource base so you can go on and do your own things while picking up some sweet moves on the guitar to show off to your friends with. If you take the DVDs one by one and perfect what Marty teaches you in each DVD then move on to the next then you’ll find yourself dominating the blues guitar in no time at all. For such a well thought out DVD course priced at $74.99 it certainly is good value for money. If you are just starting the guitar then this course will keep you busy for many months afterwards.
